The Horizon Adventure Tracks™ (HATs) network is being developed by us as a dynamic collection of carefully curated adventure riding routes specifically for Cyprus.
We have already ridden the routes, made the mistakes, deleted the mediocre and refined the experience—so you don't have to.
HATs are specifically designed for Adventure Riders on ADV and Dual Sport motorcycles. These aren’t for speedfreaks atop a screaming 2 stroke Enduro, though there are plenty of significant challenges along the way. We know; we have had the bruises and one or two broken bones/clutch levers when we “Ran Out of Talent” while mapping these trails! You are definitely going to encounter situations where a “Brave Pill” is required!
Unlike the many wonderful and traditional point-to-point trail systems, HATs is built around experiences. Mountain loops, Beach coastal rides, Forest tracks, Hidden villages, Historic sites, Spectacular viewpoints are all possible on this beautiful island. It has been developed, as a flexible route network. The Network is designed so that riders can travel along a trail, arrive at an intersection, and hop onto a different trail with different experiences and different sights to see. Its flexible to allow you to decide your experiences. We also give a personal opinion on the grade of trail and where we take extra care when we are riding them. This allows riders to make informed choices (though of course these are only our personal opinion-you always need to make the final decision on the use of any trails). We also try to include cool places to see, photo opportunities, nice restaurants, swimming places, and decent rest stops.
With over 2100 kilometres of interconnected routes, riders can create anything from a single day ride to a week-long adventure. Every section has been personally ridden, tested and refined to deliver the best possible riding experience and this will continue to evolve.
Adventure is not about getting somewhere. It's about everything that happens along the way.
