WHAT IS HORIZON RIDER?
Horizon Rider is a boutique adventure riding experience based in Cyprus, built by riders for riders who would rather explore than follow a tour bus on two wheels.
We provide carefully prepared motorcycles, comfortable rider accommodation, proven routes, navigation equipment and local knowledge. But the motorcycle is really only the key. What we're giving you is access to Cyprus.
We started by designing and trails for ourselves. But then we kept going. We wanted more freedom to explore. Years of mapping mountain tracks, forgotten roads, forests, villages, coastlines and trails eventually became the Horizon Adventure Tracks (HATs) network — more than 2,100 kilometres of interconnected riding that we continue to develop and refine.
We ride these routes ourselves. We know where the views are worth stopping for, where the surface suddenly gets interesting, where a trail becomes considerably less amusing after rain, and where you'll find a decent lunch afterwards.
YOUR RIDE, NOT OUR ITINERARY
Horizon Rider isn't built around a guide leading a line of motorcycles from scheduled stop to scheduled stop.
We give you the bike, the routes, the navigation and the local knowledge. You decide what sort of day you want.
Take the easy way through the mountains. Choose something much more technical. Head for the coast. Stop for coffee in a village because you like the look of it. Ride coast to coast almost entirely off-road. Change your mind halfway through the day and go looking for a Knights Templar settlement built a thousand years ago.
You choose.
Our philosophy is simple:
Freedom over schedules.
Experiences over mileage.
Curiosity over following the bloke in front.
Come alone, with a friend or with a few mates. We'll give you what you need.
